The Crocodile Farm

This unique farm opened in July 1994. There are 8000 square metres of glasshouses, heated by thermal recuperation from the “Eurodif” plant. It is the largest tropical greenhouse open to visitors in France.

There are 350 crocodiles (9 different species) and the educational interest of this site prevails.

Since 1998, a research laboratory has been added to the Crocodile Farm, and ten giant tortoises from the Seychelles, (a protected species) joined the crocodiles. They are 30 years old and weight from 80 to 150 kilos each!
